The equipment maintenance
Why you need to wax your skis and snowboards ?
The wax improves and extends the ski and snowboard lives.
A regular coating of fresh glide wax makes your skis or board smoothly and protected from stones, roots, etc.
Take care they wouldn't dry out.
A base waxed keep it gliding. so more feelings !!!
If you want keeping the quality of your ski and snowboard, get a professional waxed the base regularly.
If any holes or scratches, repair it quickly, before the water infiltrates inside the ski or snowboard structure.
Get your skis and snowboard regularly edged : edges have to be sharpened especially if you ski on hard snow.
Protect your gear to keep the metal edges from rusting: edges are very sensitive to oxidation. Store your skis and snowboards in a dry and well-ventilated room (above not leave in the bag) and the edges without any contact.
For long term storage over summer, get a heavy coat of wax to the skis and snowboard applied.
